You’ll receive the cardiac monitoring you need direct to you, without having to visit a clinic or hospital. Your monitor will be shipped directly to you, and you’ll apply the monitor yourself by following simple instructions. It’s easy. What is Zio and why did my doctor prescribe it?
The Zio monitor is a heart monitor that your doctor has prescribed to record your heartbeats. Using the information collected, your doctor can make a diagnosis and create an effective treatment plan.
How long will it take for my monitor to arrive at my home?
Once iRhythm has received the necessary information, iRhythm posts Zio directly to you, you will receive the monitor in 1-3 days after shipment.
What is included in the kit I receive at home?

The kit comes with:

Is it easy to apply the Zio monitor?

Yes. You may apply it yourself or have a caregiver, family member assist you.

How long do I wear my monitor?
Wear the Zio monitor for the time prescribed by your doctor.
Can I shower and exercise while wearing the monitor?
Yes. While wearing the Zio monitor, you can shower and exercise.
How do I record symptoms?
When you feel a symptom, such as lightheadedness or palpitations, press the button in the middle of your Zio monitor. You may also record it in the Button Press Logbook
How to I return my Zio monitor?
At the end of the wear period, remove your patch following the directions in the Button Press Logbook. Place your patch and Button Press Logbook in the pre-paid package and post it back to iRhythm.

WHAT IS DIRECT SHIPPING TO PATIENTS AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

What is Direct Patient Shipping?
Through our Direct Shipping process, upon your order we ship a Zio monitor directly to your patients. Patients receive very simple instructions to apply the device at home, and our customer service team can support 24/7 on 0808 189 3411. This eliminates the need for a clinic visit for applying Zio XT or to return the monitor at the end of the wear period. Direct Shipping to Patients also eliminates staff exposure to cleaning or reusing returned monitors that may have been exposed to viruses or other pathogens.

How long does it take to activate Direct Patient Shipping ?
If you are an existing customer then we can action your request immediately. If you care a new customer then please allow 24 hours to process the Service Agreement; but often, it’s sooner.
Does Direct Patient Shipping require an office visit for application or return?
No. iRhythm ships the monitors to patient’s home for them to self-apply. Post-wear, patients mail the device back to iRhythm using a pre-labelled box through Royal Mail
Is there an added cost for Direct Patient Shipping?
No. There is no extra cost, it’s all part of our service in recognition of the current challenges facing our healthcare system
Is there a delay to receiving the patient report?
No, iRhythm’s data show that turn-around time for the final report is on-par with our usual in-clinic service.

How are patients registered?
Clinics register patients via iRhythm’s patient management web portal (Zioreports.com).
Who ships the monitor to the patients?
iRhythm ships the monitor to a patient’s home; patients / caregivers apply the monitor themselves.
How soon will patients receive their monitor?
Once we the necessary information and patient address, Zio will be shipped. Patients will receive their monitors in 1-3 days after shipment.
Will patients receive proper application instructions?
Yes. Instructions and support materials are included in each patient kit. We have 24hr support (0808 189 3411) where we would be happy to assist with application or any queries, alternatively patients can email us at supportUK@irhythmtech.com.
